okay, so it’s not exactly completed. it’s actually 1/4 of the way completed. I just finished the first place mat. one down, three to go. ugh… I’m having a hard time getting through this project. I think I’ve been staring at all this fabric a little too long. I don’t think anyone was meant to look [...] w.i.p…I picked up these cotton prints @ the local fabric store on Monday. love ‘em. I’ve been wanting to make either a table runner or place mats for my best friend, and finally spotted just the right fabric combo. perfection. I think I will piece the reds and the monochromes with others that I have and [...] a friend of mine is adopting her 5 month old niece and I made these booties for her baby shower. my first pair of crochet slippers. the pattern I based them on suggested you buy a small strip of elastic and sew it to the inside of the slipper. (ew!) that hideous image in my head [...] asleep when he should be awake… my very first attempt of working with leatherette. let’s just say that I now have ALOT of leatherette scrap! I tried machine stitching it first but the fabric lining on the underside of the leatherette reared it’s tempermental head. It proved IMPOSSIBLE! and I don’t normally use “that” word when [...] |
