over at “Confessions of a Pioneer Woman”!
this woman has me hooked!
does she have a clue what she’s doing to people?
every time she has one of these contests, I pace back and forth, racking my brain.
trying to think of something clever.
all day.
everything gets put on hold until I have achieved my idea of the perfect name.
and once that moment has arrived, I fret and worry over the name I chose.
“will it be good enough?”
“will she choose IT?”
“maybe it’s not good enough?”
“oh, it’s terrible, she’s not gonna pick it!”
“have I totally lost control of my life?”
then, I have from 8pm pacific time (when the contest closes) until the next morning (when she announces the winner) to toss and turn and lose sleep over WHO the winner will be.
I’m telling you, there’s some guy somewhere with a PhD working hard in a lab coming up with a drug for this problem.
maybe a patch or a 2 week detox program for all the readers of “Pioneer Woman”.
“I HAVE lost control of my life.”

I’ve been thinking about ti all day too! You know whoever wins probably will have thought of it in 30seconds!
I know!
and I know who the winner will be.
someone thought up “Bull Dozer”.
perfection!
why couldn’t I think of that???
I went with “Fellowship of the Laboring”.
how lame is that?
now you know my secret “Geek” identity.
Aww..she already picked a winner. All of them were pretty clevah-clevah. At least, now you can get back to your normal life, Kalurah.
P.S. I’ve made a few of Pioneer Woman’s recipes. I made the chicken spaghetti(which is delicious! And the kids love it too. You should try it if you haven’t already). And I made Marlboro Man’s favorite sandwich, which was sooo buttery and unhealthy. As good as it is, I don’t think I’ll make it again. Too much guilt.

Laurie,
the only recipe I have made so far of hers is the “Best chocolate sheet cake ever”.
it is the only chocolate cake I will make now!
I make it in a reg. 9×13 pan though and cut the frosting in half.
yummmm…..very, very rich, so just a itty bitty sliver of a piece goes a long way!
I really liked the first one “he’s not heavy, he’s my brother”, Dual exhaust was my second choice!
