CSI: Cold Scene Investigation…..

Is this what it has come down to?
Taking photographs with my brand new camera of the nasty wads of used tissues, teabags and jar of Vapo Rub lying around the house.
Yes.
Because this is my current reality and sadly, the only thing occupying my time at the moment.

My second week of Christmas Break began with a glorious cold that has hung on until present. After over a week of lung bursting, eye popping coughing fits that were keeping me (and the Hubbs)up on a nightly basis, I went into the doctor to have my lungs checked.

Bronchitis.

Which I can totally handle, mind you. No problem. Take antibiotics twice daily. Cough medicine once daily, or as needed.

But of course….the night of my doctor’s visit, I decide to cough so hard that I tear some tissue in my already sore rib in the right side of my chest.

Yay.

When WILL the fun end?

So, have you also been blessed with an illness to start off the new year?

  1. Bronchitis? Oh my. Feel better soon. Drink ginger brandy (it really helps).

  2. hope you feel better! my husband makes me hot toddies when i’m sick …they work wonders. i’ve also had great luck with echinacea drops and a supplement called congaplex (by standard processes).

  3. Feeling sorry for you as I sit here as a well person. Hubby did catch the stomach flu a couple days after Christmas but is OK now, and apparently I’m not going to get it. YEAH!!! Get Well!

  4. Poor baby! Daddy is going to make homemade chicken noodle soup and French bread to bring you for dinner tonight and Mommy made homemade Creme Brulee for dessert.
    See you tonight!
    We love you!

  5. Stomach flu for me. On the bright side, not being able to leave the house for 5 days may have been exactly the rest that my injured knees have been needing. And I made a small dent in my Netflix queue.

    Feel better!

  6. No! No sickness for me, thanks. Sorry you’re feeling ill, and hello again old friend. It’s been a long while since I’ve visited any blogs. Or written on mine, for that matter. Life’s been busy. Great to read/see you again! Feel better soon!
