I awoke yesterday morning to an extremely pleasant surprise.
My email was overflowing, which is certainly odd considering that by the next morning I have accumulated a mere two or three emails, a “hello” here, an order there, maybe a pattern order from some lovely person on the other side of the hemisphere.
But this morning was different.
My friend, Jennifer (aka: uber talented crochet pattern creator) and my friend Claudia (aka: awesome embroidery artist) both informed me that one of my items had been featured in the morning etsy newsletter, amongst other talented people.
This was news to me, as I slept in yesterday morning due to this nasty cold that has unpleasantly settled itself into my poor body.
I, then proceeded to read email after email consisting of this nice person and that pleading for custom items.
Again, Mama Mia!
Why, oh why can I never have several of one particular item listed in the shop at the same time when something like this happens?
Still, just from the mere exposure of the Etsy Finds article, I gained over $70 in sales and an extra 20 juicy, red hearts on my shop!
In just one day!
I won’t say Mama Mia again. But I AM thinking it!
I am still scrambling to make up some more jewelry and fingerless gloves in this incredible wake. So then, I am holding up a white flag to my computer right now.
And I apologize in advance if I do not get to any of your wonderful comments on my blog post from yesterday.
Or, for that matter, to any of the comments on todays.
It is now 3 am and truth be told, I will probably grab my Nyquil and Kleenex and head to bed around 4am or just as soon as I finish sewing on those buttons!
Achoo!!!
Thanks so much for letting me gleam and glisten all over the place in your presence. (runny nose and all.)
And for reading my blog, for that matter. You are truly the reason I come here each day. (or the other.) To open up myself and spill out upon the vast internet all my worries and troubles and on the rare occasion, even my triumphs.
Thank you!

Those gloves are lovely. The Matron has craft envy. She is hopeless.
The crochet gloves are marvelous, they look so chic and elegant and at the same time are very cozy and looks easy to wear and use…
So happy for you really, although I don’t know you…
Hope you’ll get well soon.
Do you create your own designs or you see them in a catalogue and then make them?!
And if I live in Egypt, how can I get your products and how much are they going to cost in addition to shipping??!
Congratulations on this triumph!
I’m here via Mrs. G at Derfwad Manor. ๐
