If you get an afternoon off and it’s nice and chilly outside, turn off the heat and fire up the oven.
You’re in for some twisted yumminess.
These are the absolute BEST soft pretzels I have ever had! It’s a bit of work but well worth it.
And it’s fun. I let the kids pull up chairs and help roll out the pretzels.
Here is a scandalous close up of the sheer scrumptiousness that is this delectably salty lovely.
Click on the picture, to truly appreciate the soft, yeasty state of joy.
Oh YEAH, baby.
I make up a subtly sweet cream cheese dip to pair with these.
Pretzel Cheese Dip
1 package Neufchatel Cream Cheese (it’s softer than regular, right out of the package)
1 scant TBsp Honey
Stir to combine.
Now, suction the drool off of your keyboard, drink a tall glass of water and go make these.
Now.

These look delicious. If I wasn’t spending the night in a hotel, I’d probably be making them.
Yuuuuummmmm…..I love the photos and I just ate lunch but am still hungry now.
Yum,Yum,Yum!!!
Thanks for the recipe. I definitely want to ‘TRY’ to make this. I’m not the baker like you are. But I’ll sure try.
Ok, so now I’m hungry! 😀
I made pretzels with this recipe for Christmas gifts. They were so good! I will have to try your dip, for sure.
