I’m changing the name of my blog.
it’s no longer “while they play”.

it’s been changed to “while they’re sick”.
or “while they puke their guts out”.
or “while they fill up 3 pull-ups within 5 minutes time”.

yes.
it’s back again.
Zoe has already had a touch of this but it has tracked her down again.
she spent all day today, off and on the toilet with barf bowl in tow.

I don’t know what mutant strand of flu or crap this is.
yes, crap.
I said it.
that’s what it is, after all.

that’s what I’ve been cleaning up, breathing in and laundering out of underwear for the past, what, year now?
a year, right?
oh, is that all?
well, it feels like a year.

I feel guilty for subjecting you all to this horror show over the past few weeks.
but this is my life.

with or without all the hurling and the leaky butts.
you just have to accept me along with all my faults.
or as I call them, my family.

maybe when you visit here at the end of this week, it will have finally settled it’s way back into the normal, clean and boring craft blog it used to be.

but don’t hold your breath.
(unless, of course your family has what mine does.)
