I’m sorry I missed the contest! We had flu drama over here and I know(because I’m another loyal reader) that you can understand that. But now I’m eating potstickers and life is good.
Even though the contest is over, I’ll still tell you why I like to read your blog. We’re the same age and our kids are about the same ages and gender order, so I feel much camaraderie(sp?)with you. I can tell you are a devoted mother with lots of sentimentality and I appreciate that. I like the things that you choose to observe in your blog and your take on things. And, heck, I’ll say it–all the poop and pee and throw up going on in your house makes me not feel so bad about all the poop, pee, and throw up going on in my house. So thank you for doing what you do.
I went on Posy Gets Cozy today and Alicia announced that she is putting out a book. It’s called Stitched Souvenirs. The embroidery that you did of your son’s first drawing would have fit really well in it. What a cool idea that was! If only I knew how to embroider.
