dilemma…

okay, I’d like to pose a question to all of you lovely readers.

how many of you are readers of my other blog that I have set up for my three children?
I have it linked here at whiletheyplay, but how many of you even realize that it’s there?

I, quite honestly, forget that it’s there! I do, after all, blog about my three children incessantly, here! almost every time I post.

does anyone even know the name of the sister blog? ? ? ? ?
see, my point, exactly!

I started out with very good intentions for this second blog of mine. it was going to be about all the stuff I filled my time with while my children were doing their thing (playing).
but what with my sharing tight quarters with the ragamuffins, my hobbies and my children often collide and intermix. not always in a good way. but still!

I just don’t have the heart to kill my other blog, just yet! if you read my latest post there, you will see what my big quandaries are with it.

if you’ve got the time, please check out the Hudson’s Home Blog and tell me what you think regarding it’s demise. I would really enjoy all your trusty, honest feedback.
I’m quite used to it, actually. I’ve come to depend on it. I may even decide to start showing you all my wardrobe options before getting dressed in the morning!
or ask you how I should fix my hair? do these earings go with this top? do these shoes make my legs look fat?

someone, somewhere must be setting up a “Blogger’s Anonymous Support Group”.
and it’s probably my husband!

  1. Kalurah,
I read the other blog all the time. I love that you are trying to keep your kids lives seperate from your hobbies, and you usally have more detailed info about them there than here. Oh to be sure your occasional story appears here about them, but not like the other page. I understand the time it takes though to keep them seperate so, maybe you might have to combine. It’s up to you in the long run, but I will miss the three z’s.

  2. hey woman!
thanks for the comment on the other blog!
I am afraid that once we get moved and I start up my crafts again, I won’t blog about the kids as much.
so as far as that goes, it would be good to leave the three Z’s up and running!
oh, and hey….why don’t you have comments enabled on your Weston Files?
I would love to leave some comments there!
it should be in the settings tab when you customize and I think you have to mark “anyone”, that way no one needs a password.
oh! and I need your email. if you don’t want to put it up in your blogger bio, email me, so I have it!
sorry, I’m in a bossy mood today!
    love ya guys,
    kalurah 🙂

  3. I still read the Hudson’s blog every day, and actually still access it at zoesroom.net. Does that prove me a long time reader??

I do have to admit though, I love your wtp blog and it is my favorite of the two.

Tell Jach to set up a blog of his own, and then all problems will be solved!

  4. ha, ha, Lauren! let’s stop and consider the afore mentioned possible demise of the hudsons home blog, that is exactly what we will be looking at if your wonderful brother manages it!
I love him a million times over but the man can’t blog! he tries really!
he just doesn’t have that blogger’s gumption, like us gals.
uh, oh! jason just walked into the room and read this comment.
    okay, everybody act natural.
    don’t say anything!
    he won’t suspect a thing.
I’ll tell him I deleted this comment!
    (shhhhh!)

  5. Kalurah,
When I first started reading your stuff, I read both blogs. Then, I switched to just this one because, you’re right, you do include lots of stuff about both the fam AND your crafts in this blog(it’s 2 mints in 1). I did think it was interesting though that you guys mentioned on the other blog that you had the intention of letting your daughter do some blogs of her own. That’s a really cute idea and maybe one more reason to keep it around for when she is able to do that(it may be soon since once they start Kindergarten, they just take off doing all these advanced things).

  6. Laurie,
    you “cha-ky lett-le mun-kay”, you!
that is SUCH a great idea!
I never even considered that Zoe will most definitely be learning to write and in turn, type very soon!
you are such a clever thing, you!
let it be noted: YOU have made up my mind, once and for all to definitely keep that(blog)show on the(web)road!
