Done!! finally, after well over a month. ah, face it. it’s been more like two or three. but who’s keeping track?
I intended on using this as a winter blanket to keep in the linen closet, but how great does it match my bedroom, I ask you.
perfectly!
excuse the terribly disheveled dresser and hubbies work desk that popped their ugly heads into the photo.
now that I’ve finished my first crocheted afghan, I am really looking forward to doing another one. something with pastels for Zoe’s big girl bed that will be going into the new house. she’s so excited. she will finally get her own room again!
she LOVES hello kitty and back when she had her own room (pre-Zander), I had her entire room done in pink! once we’re moved all the items I had to box up over a year ago will find a new home again. when we’re done with it, it will look like a huge bottle of Pepto exploded in there!
anywho….I think a cute little pale pink afghan will complement her new digs nicely.
now, I’m off to do more packing, cleaning, feed the kids lunch, try and keep my sanity, etcetera.

I love the colors too! Great job!
thanks, blackpurl!
Kalurah,
I am currently crocheting a blanket for my bed and I know how long something like this takes(I can’t believe you finished in just a few months!!) Good for you! You’re completing things left and right. I can’t tell if the colors match your room because the pic seems to be in black and white. What are the colors?
exactly! my room is literally black and white colors. for a better pic of the afghan, itself, here’s a link.
