The Cubs report for Spring training today! I must admit, I have never liked baseball in my entire life. But my husband has turned me around. He tried hard the first year of our marriage…but no go. By the second year, he was explaining(patiently) the rules of the game, during every single game.
I must say, I really look forward to baseball season now. We both huddle on the couch while the kids run circles around the living room, screaming, “go cubbies!”. I still have to ask the occasional stupid question now and then. But I enjoy the game. good or bad. and if you’re familiar with the cubs, you know it’s more bad than good. (sigh) maybe they’ll have a good team this season. we’ll see…
