I finally finished the small list of unfinished projects that were taunting me from my sewing room.it doesn’t help matters when the sewing room is “on the way” to the laundry room. so, I get struck with that feeling of guilt every time I pass by. I’m adding some crocheted items to the shop as well as [...] okay, I know following my last post, this should by all means be a photo of something luscious, dipped in chocolate. or something that would give you an instant cavity just looking at it.alas, I could not keep away from my hoop. we enjoyed a long night together just the two of us, along with my [...] my current w.i.p, well, one of them….is a secret project. I brought it along with me on our trip to the coast and I’m nearly done. you’ll get another sneak preview as I begin the finishing touches and then I’ll post it at it’s completion for all of you to see. I’m so excited! this is [...] okay, so I slept on it and decided I didn’t like the contrast stitching after all. nor did I want the lining sewn in before I assemble the bag. thank goodness for rotary blades and self healing mats! it didn’t take too long to trim all my thread off, and the bag and lining went together [...] okay, so I haven’t yet finished either one of the afghans I started. (what? I didn’t mention I started a second afghan?) a sewing bug bit me the other day and I just had to act!I’ve been wanting a messenger bag for a long time and I bought chocolate leatherette about a month ago for just [...] w.i.p update…I’m making quite a bit of progress on my ripple afghan. I’m actually considering keeping it a little short so it can be a throw instead of a bed cover. during the summer months, you dress so skimpily and at night when the temps drop, something like this would be nice to throw over your [...] work in progress…my very first afghan. I used aRandom Stripe Generator program. I put in the colors I wanted to use and this is the pattern I ended up going with.
