Testing, testing…

This pattern has been a long time coming. I’ve had a gazillion Crocheters ask me for a pattern for this scarf since last winter.

Zoe ended up in the hospital for a day and a half last week, due to dehydration, so it left plenty of time for me to work on this. What else was I gonna do? I brought a suitcase with underwear , a toothbrush, a skein of yarn, a hook and my tablet.

Alas, I’ve finally written up the pattern and created a pdf.
Only problem….I’ve misplaced all of my pattern tester emails. πŸ˜›

I was able to remember a few by memory but HOLY COW, Pattern Girl! Why didn’t you have them all written down somewhere???
I am forever doing things like this! When will I learn?

IF you are a Crocheter and would like to try out this pattern for free, please comment on this post or email me to let me know you’re interested.

You’ll need about 150 yrds of bulky weight yarn, a “K” hook and a free weekend. Or a few free evenings.

This is a fun pattern and is absolutely gorgeous worked up!
If you don’t crochet, send someone you know who does!

Happy Tuesday, all! πŸ™‚

  1. so sorry, you know I don’t crochet and I don’t know anyone that crochets, that you don’t already know. πŸ™‚ Just had to say that I love the name and that this is absolutely gorgeous.

  2. You know there is not crocheting coming from this house, but I laughed so hard about Zan eating out of the tub of ice cream!

I am glad to know I am not alone!

    Love you guys!

  3. Hey, I finished up the Audrey pattern this weekend (to be totally truthful, I only made one, and now I’m going to unpick it because I used the wrong sized hook for my yarn. Totally my error. The pattern worked up really well, and I liked the ribbed pattern along the sleeve.)

So if you want to send the scarf my way, I’d be happy to work that up next!

  4. Oh and I am very sorry to hear that Zoe was back in the hospital! What a tough summer!

  5. very pretty – i wish i wasn’t so overwhelmed with projects because this would be a fun one to test!

i hope Zoe is doing better!

  6. This pattern is gorgeous! I wish I was crafty like that. I’ll just wait until you put it up on your etsy sight – do you ever take special orders?
So sorry to hear about your sweet pea in the hospital again. Sending warm thoughts…

  7. Thanks, Anhna. I just made one of these in grey. Haven’t put any buttons on it yet, though.
Yes, I do custom orders. I usually charge $48 for these but I am always willing to cut a deal for a friend!! πŸ™‚
Thank you for your loving wishes regarding Zoe. She is feeling much better, now.

  8. Wow, this is sooo cool. I want, no, NEED this… I’m not much of a knitter though… ohmigosh… i may have to custom order one.

  9. Oh this is stunning! I’d love to test it although I’m about to pack up my yarn stash to ship overseas…

I hope your little girl is better!

  10. HI, I’ve just found your blog today πŸ™‚
It’s nice to see your crochets. They are really beautiful.
I also would like to be one of your patter tester if there is still available πŸ™‚
I will also sent you e-mail. So you know a bit better about me and if if want to contact me in the future πŸ™‚

  11. Hi! I just found your blog today! I had to say that I love all your pieces. As a crocheter I have had a hard time finding patterns that are cute and not too cheesy or too Grandma Crochet!

Keep it up and if you ever need a pattern tester I would love to help!
