  13. Very generous of you all! How I used to love looking through the avon catalog when I was a little girl. That is where my lifelong obsession with cosmetics was born!

    One of my favorite gifts was a yellow “diamond” ring that avon sold and my parents got me for Christmas. I felt like a million bucks!

  14. Though I didn’t come here because of this I can’t resist entering. By the way I need a book from your mom. My mom use to sell but now that she’s not we (mom, and two sisters) are all going through withdrawl. I can’t promise to be big spenders (HAHA) but between the four of us, we ought to be pretty regular buyers.

  18. Wow, 200!!! Way to set the bar!

    As for Avon…I have such a soft spot in my heart…my grandpa had all the cologne bottles that came in shapes of cars, horses, outhouses…and my grandma had all those red crystal dishes! I’d love for my name to be thrown in, as it looks like Avon has come quite a ways from Skin-so-Soft (do they still sell Cote d’Azur? That was my favorite perfume in high school!).

    Avon was part of my life when I was 12 and I had a summer babysitting job for an Avon Lady … (she paid me often in those “decorative bottles of perfume) – that was a while ago. I’m glad they’re making products that will help with how long ago that was (do they still have Sweet Honesty?). Count me in. Great Blog, by the way.
